I've always thought of myself as a bit of a rebel without a cause. In my younger years, I was all in for the hippie style, rock'n'roll, long concert nights and theatre afterparties, a classic machine for the road – along with my watercolours, pencils and sketchbooks. Later on, as I needed to make space and time for my family, I put my artistic pursuits aside.

Many years of family life later, I picked up a camera and realised that my fun-loving, adventurous attitude, which survived even my most serious business years, together with my inclination for visual communication, can have a new outlet and a new medium. I set up a small studio and began discovering the possibilities of digital stills.

I enjoy taking photos of land- and cityscapes on my walks and travels, but most of all, I love setting up scenes with interesting characters and capturing portraits of passionate modern-day rebels, be they with or without a cause.
